I am in the market for a new computer. I need one that will host WoW, and the new Starcraft games, (When they come out) and the program Rosetta Stone, and Word and Excel. My budget is $600-$800. (For the PC itself)

Any suggestions?

Depends, really...do you want a laptop or a desktop?

Laptop, well, right now is a great time to buy one. Best Buy had a sale over Thanksgiving for an HP laptop AND printer for 350. Great deal.

Desktop? Build one. It's not hard and you can get a bitchin' system for 700-750.

WoW isn't hard on the systems, but I think Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 might be. So, if you're looking ahead, you might want to think of a better video card...

Why not get a Mac?

One of us... one of us...

Uh, I mean, less likely to get viruses.

I'm not opposed to getting a MAC, just so long as it has the capabilities to run those games and programs like word or excel...and it stays within budget!!!

Here's a few things to consider for your computer

1) for the games..do you want to simply run them OR run them and think "OOOHHHH this game looks awesome!".

2) your lucky Blizzard tends to make their games work on low end computer systems

3) Do you know someone computer literate who can put one together for you, this is the cheapest way

4) in regards to question 1, if you want OOHHHHH this looks awesome, save up the cash until Starcraft 2 comes out (you have time trust me) and toss in some extra cash.
