Allergy

Turns out I allergic to amoxicillin. I have a rash/hives all over my torso, upper arms, neck, and some on my face. GREAT! How annoyingly itchy! I wonder if it will ever go away. I've had this rash for 1 1/2 weeks now... it started 3 days after being on the antibiotics. This crap happened the last time I was on antibiotics (strep throat 2 years ago

Eep - I don't know how I would have survived Ohio if I was allergic to Amoxicillin! You might need to check out if that means you are allergic to all Penicillin. My sister is. I hope you feel better. If the rash doesn't start going away, they may need to put you on steroids. If so, watch out for the bitchiness that'll cause, but it will take care of the rash in no time.
