There's an old saw in the customer service field about how there are companies in which the policy is that the appropriate level of customer service is that at which the customer is sullen but not rebellious. There are, naturally, niches at most levels of service. I've worked for a man who came out of sales and assumed that he would lose customers to bad service -- his goal was to sell new accounts faster than he lost existing ones.

Well, this customer is rebellious. Got the new cards from Vistaprint, faster than they said they'd arrive, and I'm a very happy customer.
