Barry Pepper and the "Snow Walker"

Last night, Brodie, Jessica, Eric and I went to see "the Snow Walker", at the Odeon. It was a last-minute spontaneous thing (I was actually kinda planning on seeing the "oak tree" instead of a film), but I thoroughly enjoyed this Canadiana flick. I love film fests. Yeah! It was kinda weird...I ran to use the washroom before the show, and Eric waited outside the theatre for me. While he was waiting, Barry Pepper walked by looking for the theatre, so Eric pointed him in the right direction.
He introduce the film, and then answered questions and talked about it afterwards. It was super awesome! I had no idea that the Vic film fest had things like that!

That sounds like an awesome experience. I think it's time for me to hit up a few of those films... are there any more you're thinking of seeing? Maybe I could join you :)

I haven't really planned on seeing anymore...I just haven't had any time to plan and read up on the MANY many films in the festival...but I would LOVE to go with you if there is one that you'd like to see:)
