i've been in a cake makin frenzy as of late. those around me receiving these aforementioned cakes are thrilled. and fat. heres a sprinkly cake i made for a family friend's 18th birthday and a flowery one i made for my boyfran just because i had extra buttercream from making the sprinkly cake.

i finished a painting thing? I used enamel, acrylic, sharpie, and paint markers to make it. i also used a dog skull i found by some railroad tracks as the star of the whole shebang.
now the puppy that probably had a crappy, neglected life is the center of attention, which makes me feel better about the circumstances in which i found it.

LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO DO IT, BETTY CROCKER
today was a wonderfully domestic day.
one: i made a kickass dinner of roasted chicken with red and sweet potatoes.
two: i also dug out a nightgown i bought at a thrift store for like three bucks and meant to alter and make awesome but never did. NOW IS THE TIME. TODAY WAS THE DAY. i am pleased with the results, and amazed i remembered how to sew at ( Read more... )
