Pedestrian Perils

It seems that one often discovers somewhat bizarre patterns of behavior when travelling abroad. Sweden is no exception. What strikes me as particularly strange is the swedish attitude toward j-walking. those dicks. living in ny and chicago has taught me to be assertive and just stroll across the street, occasionally glaring at oncoming traffic if need be (i.e., they are particularly aggressive and honk or something). every time my family has come to visit, they think my street-crossing technique is insane and dangerous, but i haven't been hit yet.
