I bought a new DS under duress :p  My logic is sound though, I have not actually bought a DS Lite yet and had always planned on getting on on this trip but then I won one.  Seems to me like I should buy one as my plan dictated and to be loyal to Nintendo, they do need the sales afterall.  Besides, with the exchange rate

I just need Zero 2 myself to mirror that same collection, if you see another around then it'd be appreciated... I used to have the PAL version of it, which you see changing hands on ebay for a fair couple of quid too!

I knew you needed that one as I remembered it was missing from your photos so I planned on keeping my eyes open still.

I have the US versin but it is an ebay bargain and in a right old state. Question, how does the PAL version play? I can`t say the US one was at all good and I am thinking speed issues here for the PAL version.

I just re-read..... used to have? How come you no longer have it?

You forget I was knee-high to a grasshopper in Sep 06! Sadly many great titles were lost from my collection over the years, back then I used had to sell my old gear to fund the new. Don't remember much about the PAL conversion but combined with the general arse-ness of the port it wasn't great, especially not when my mate was playing the Saturn version at roughly the same time.

If I recall it had comically huge boarders on the UK release... didnt that have something to do with the NTSC version already sporting boarders of its own to improve frame rate? :P
