hey, umm, can I use your friend cut as an excuse to cut you from my f-list? nothing bad happened, it was nice to be your lj-friend, I just feel that we have less and less in common.. I hope you're not mad with me ^^
They make me sad, too, but this one was a long time coming. I had about 50 'friends' I hadn't spoken to in over a year or were completely inactive, and it didn't make sense to keep them anymore... It sounds really callous, doesn't it?
It's a very strange thing. It sounds very callous but yet it's part of the culture on livejournal. You can have two hundred friends and only talk to a select few.
It's both fascinating and sad I suppose. You could probably write an essay about the culture and social influences of the blogging sites.
I think the real problem is, we gauge our self-worth by how many friends we have--much like facebook--and I think I'm at a point in my life where I don't need to do that.
I'm fine having only a handful of friends as long as they're people I talk to and share interests with, such as yourself.
:( Aw~ I got cut. Although, I can totally understand since I know I don't comment very much *is a terrible lj friend*, so no hard feelings at all ^^ ...but I just want to let you know that you're a wonderful person and I have enjoyed reading your posts. ^^ Well, it was nice getting to know you, and I wish you all the best in everything. <3

I understand them, however. I just don't think I could bring myself to do them.
