i freakin love that the first post i see from you indicates you write historical fiction. what is your time and place of preference?

1700-1900 Europe, I guess would be my favourite. I say I write historical nonsense, because while the story I have written is loosely based in England in the 1890s, I've made a lot of changes to what's going on politically and so on.

hey, nothing wrong with that. that's the reason i write 'high fantasy with a historical bent' - it gives me licence to do what i want and crib from real world history in the time and place of my choice.
