I finally got around to uploading pics from Mudthaw. The set can be found here.

A bunch of Roses pics have been uploaded as well.

Yay! I always love your pictures. The Roses Court ones came out particularly nice, for which I am very grateful (having gotten there and discovered that my batteries were totally ded.)

They turned out quite nice. The majority of the Mudthaw and Roses shots were taken by the sweety. He's got a great eye. :-)

Steve did most of the picture taking. I uploaded this selection instead of uploading all 700+ pics that were taken.

Heh, I'm glad you like them. I was working the camera at that point and recognized your shield so I snapped some pics. :-)

Woo! And here i thought they were pictures of Master Julian that I just happened to be standing in frame.

It's just so rare that someone deliberately takes shots of me on the field... Again thank you.

Did the King actually authorize using a great shield???

I believe he authorized in Single blade and blade & Shield.

Several of the marshals reiterated that there is no real specification on the SIZE of a buckler/shield.

This is true... It is usually only the heavies that come to the rapier field with a "buckler" that large.

I just broke out laughing on the bus when I saw a very familiar coat of arms on a shield by a person wielding a rapier. People thought I had two additional heads.
