Who-all got CBs from E&M? I know Varju and it looks like they gave one to Edward's wife, Cassandra, but I can't tell from the back of other people's heads :P
I'll bet one was Maggie. :-) Pictures are great, Hon. Thank you. Congrats to both of you on your protegeeing. *grin* I wish you both much joy in the relationship. :-0 (((((HUGS)))
Congrats on the new protege! (You can has.) May it be rewarding and interesting in a good way for both of you. :)
And thank you so much for capturing some really awesome moments on film. I am holding off on posting the photos of the book and hawk scrolls for my parents to Facebook, considering my brothers, cousin, and Aunts and Uncles are also on my SCA account - and they'll spoil the surprise before we get to my parents with their AoAs. (Personally, I'd like to see them at the more-local-to-them St. Andrew's in November, but that'll depend on mom's health as usual).
Seeing as Lissa doesn't always wear a belt and the apron went with her persona, I figured this would be a neat way to represent the relationship.
Lilly made the apron. I dyed the apron. And I think it turned out pretty well seeing as I had *never* dyed anything before.
I still need to get some embroidery work done on it. I was nervous about the dyeing part so I kept putting it off. Ergo, I ran out of time to get the embroidery done.
And you are welcome. Would you still like a copy burned for yourself? You're more than welcome to just take the pics off of Flickr if you'd prefer that.
It's one of the blessings and curses of this kingdom we are in, isn't it? I have made many friends from away that I just love hanging out with, but I only see them 3 to 4 times a year. Meh, it is what it is.

Yup.
The other two ladies, I believe, were the ladies that acted as head ladies in waiting for the reign.
Unfortunately, I don't remember their names.

Thanks! I think we'll be a smashing pair.
I thought the book scroll was fabulous! Did you make the book as well?

Isn't Vargu wonderful? I hope I spelled her name right.
I thought that this reign was lots of fun - they really put themselves into it.
Oh yeah, and congrats to Griff. Would have loved to see that face...

It's a shame you weren't able to come down. But that would have been a bit of a drive. ;-)
