There's a reason why they give us so many holidays and 30 days of paid vacation a year. It's because I can not think of a single job in the civilian world that makes you work 90 to 100 hours a week for 6 months straight. We've got a month and a half left on this deployment and you can tell how being around each other every waking moment is just

I wonder if you could get cleared to visit the pyramids or Jerusalem or something equally historical on your way out as part of your leave. That'd be so cool... if you're into that stuff. :) you should check out the French Rivera this time of year is a blast!

that reminds me so much of a Capt we both know... i almost got to fly to Egypt... and yes I think that would be cool to see that stuff... if I get on the AVON which is unlikely I'd probably stop in either Greece or Italy and then also the Azores... but more then likely I'll be on a CAM flight that will take me back with layovers in Germany then either Ireland or Iceland and either Canada or Maine...
