6 Hours

Well after having a lot of fun in Virgina, I got to find out exactly how much fun a jet ski is. And a 6 hour flight I am in sunny California in a nice Navy TEQ room which has wi-fi and cable by the way. It's like I never left Iraq with the heat, it's 108 today. Where are you? In 29 Palms? I knew someone who was stationed out there and said the closest big city was Palm Springs. Closest any-kind-of-city was Cabazon..... or maybe Barstow..... Or are you in Ocean Side.... Or wherever Camp Pendelton is....

If you ever find one, try the Yoshinoya in CA and compare it to what you remember from Japan. I like our Yoshinoya, but I've never had the real thing. Tommy's is another good place...... And of course In N' Out, but everyone knows about that place. Tommy's is what I miss more so.

Oh yeah there is a huge outdoor mall in Rancho Cucamonga. Pretty upscale, but then again, remember where you are.

I am in El Centro, right across the border from MexiCali 2 hours from San Diego and 1 hour from Yuma Arizona... I haven't ventured out on town yet waiting for the birds to get back... I just noticed that everything is more expensive except for Jack Daniels...
