wikipedia has a HUGE amount of info on blood pressure here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_pressure there's a whole bunch of info most regular people won't ever really need to know - but there's a chart for what's considered 'normal' and just as important - when its *not* - about a 3rd of the way down. Basically; blood pressure (BP) is the pressure (force per unit area) exerted by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels... For each heartbeat, blood pressure varies between "systolic" (the top #) and "diastolic" (the bottom #) pressures. Systolic pressure is peak pressure in the arteries, Diastolic pressure is minimum pressure in the arteries. Aside from the brain - the heart is the engine that keeps everything up & running correctly... (sort of like tracking fuel & oil pressure helps tell why a car isn't running well)
Thanks for the well wishes! I still can't believe I had a heart attack.
doing good - the 'slow' thing is frustrating as hell, but not much I can do about that :P hey, I tried buying circular needles yesterday... whole bunch of fail :-( the directions call for #9 36"long - but using 2 strands baby weight... I want to use a heavier wt yarn - can I use #10 36"long?

Thanks sweetie!!
I keep wavering from disbelief (and consequential frustration) and utter joy to have survived (85% blockage ain't nothin to sneeze at!!)
When I've upgraded from limited walking to more regimented exercise, I'm thinking possibly tai chi... or maybe some form of 'easy' yoga. (I should ask yoga_matt about the different forms)

My dear friend, I continue to send all sorts of healing energy your way. I think both yoga and tai chi would be excellent for you; I remember you as a beautiful, flexible dancer, so both of these would be awesome. :-)
