I keep getting this "you should change your password" pop up after posting with a 'click here' link - allegedly from LJ...
anyone else getting this? or should I report it - and to whom?

lj, annoying

I got it. It happens once in a long while to remind people that keeping the same password for too long might not be a great idea. Just choose a password you'll remember and change it :)

I think it's a new thing. I got it. I changed my password (not through the link, I went there manually) and now I don't get it no mo'.

I think it's legit, but I still wouldn't use the link. However, you should change your password... LJ does tend to check periodically for passwords that are too easy to crack.

My favorite trick is to take an obscure word and separate it at a random point with a few random numbers. Rarely do I get told that's too easy to crack.

I've been getting it, too, and I think it's because my password includes no numerals. I am 100% certain that the password itself would never be guessed. I'm steadfastly ignoring the cautions. Too many passwords I need to remember for me to be cluttering my mind with more.

I just changed it - and it demanded "password must have at least one number in it"
good gods - like anyone was really going to bother trying to guess the original one!
like a good lemming I complied :-P
