How you take care of your knee now will affect the rest of your life. Injuries to a body part that critical are a really serious business.

Yeah, my father is getting knee replacement on both knees not from an injury, just kind of abusing his knees over the years at work. I definitely don't want to cause such a thing.

i think that its better to push it back and give yourself lots of time to ease into training, so as not to stress the knee. knees are funky joints and just a little overdoing can do so much damage... i think caution is better in this instance.

Thanks. I am leaning towards waiting. I'm just slightly afraid pushing it back will mean I'll find some excuse next year to not do it, etc. But yeah, caution is better.

I'm going to have to weigh in on the side of waiting a year... it's not giving up, it's taking care of yourself! But whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks. I am leaning towards waiting. Just had my mind set on doing it this year. Don't know if I'll be in the same mind set next year. :)

If you don't feel 100% you're right in waiting.
Take care. ♥
