Fantastic pics! I especially love the octopus tree and the one where the light was shining through. What does the burl grow into? I'm imagining a cute little redwood growing into a massive tree and making a big hole in your ceiling. Hee.

Thanks. And the burl is supposed to grow fern like plants on it. Ferns seem to love redwoods. So no redwood going through my ceiling. LOL.

Next time you're on the west coast I definitely recommend heading north to see them. They're very pretty and make you seem insignificant in the big picture. And I'm glad you enjoyed the peek. :)

And yes, it's called The Pink Lady, although technically that's a nickname, even though it's always called that. I think the official name is The Carson House, or something.
