Earthquake

Just had an earthquake. They usually don't bother me, but this apartment shakes when a big rig drives by so earthquakes are always extra shakey here. We've been having a lot of little quakes recently. Strange.

Oh my... I'm glad we don't have them here (not where I live anyway). That's scary.

You get used to them. And often you will go many years before a large one hits, and sometimes you get a bunch of little ones together. :) They can be fun to ride out once you figure out the strength of it.
