Things have gone back to normal again, or as normal as they'll get. What's weird is that I haven't heard much about the president's murder since then or what really happened. I guess they really wanted to cover it up, because it's working. People are forgetting about it already

Not really. It's probably just coincidence, for whatever reason. Or Naminé had finished a while ago and was just waiting for a trigger to fit it all into place.
