Mercredi Après-midi. Un petit café autour du coin

Jul 05, 2006 23:19

It's the type of cafe you'd expect to see on post card. The coffee is served in small cups and the pastries are always fresh. Marty sits and watches the locals in their fashionable outfits walk by as he waits for Angela to finish indulging herself in her Julia Roberts fantasy.

And there she comes, laden with bags, which she quickly shoves under the table after kissing Marty on the forehead in greeting. "Heyyyyyyy."

Marty poked his head into a couple of the bags and waved to a waiter to come over to the table. "Hey yourself. Did you have fun shopping?"

"I spent more money than I ever thought I would have all at once," Angela said slowly. "Didn't really feel like me. But I guess it was fun. The little tiny french ladies all told me I was tres belle."

She ordered a coffee. "So we have two more days here, huh?"

"Two more days and it's back to Fandom. I thought tomorrow we could do another bout of sight-"

Suddenly Marty froze and turned his head when he heard a familiar voice say:

"Excusez-moi monsieur? Est-ce que je pourrais avoir une certaine graine de citrouille avec un côté des têtes de poissons?"

Marty blinked at the familiar woman in a very large hat.

"Marcella?"
