Room 212: Late Afternoon

Sep 01, 2006 12:29

After the events last night, Marty was definitely not sulking in his room. That would be childish. And Marty? Definitely not a child. In fact this was totally a non-sulking zone.

The fact that he's grumpy, cranky and muttering to himself is beside the point.

Cameron was restless after saying goodbye to Callisto and found that he couldn't stay in his room. When he noticed Marty's door open, he knocked on the doorframe before sticking his head in. "Yo."

"Hey," Marty replied. Grumpily. "What's up?"

"I'm bored and sick of people leaving," Cameron said, taking in Marty's tone. "You?"

"Ditto." Marty replied. "I'm also sick of people who don't want you to be nice even though you're just trying to cheer them up."

Not that it had anything to do with the conversation.

"People are no longer allowed to leave and they also can't be emo for no good reason. Can we make that a law?"

Rayanne stopped by. She was dressed in a mini-skirt and a fitted t-shirt and boots and carrying a six-pack and a plate of microwaved pierogies, and she hoped to god she had the right room.

The open door was kind of a hint. "Hi, strranger," she said, leaning around the door frame.

Marty looked up from his laptop at Angela looking a little confused at her attitude.

"Uh. Hi."

"Hi," Rayanne said with a smile. "So I brought pierogies and beer. Teh components of any successful party. Even a private one."

He was cute.

"So what? You buy me a couple of beers and some food and everything is all better?" Marty replied slightly less sulkily than when she first entered the room.
