Room 212: All Day

Marty is doing his best to be cheerful as he packs up the last of his belongings. Packing is a relative term as he seems to be dragging out the process as much as possible.

Kawalsky knocked at the door. "Hey Marty, you moving out today?"

"Yep. This would be it," Marty said with a sigh. "My only regret is that I won't be able to break the new students brains."

Well that's not exactly true but that's at least one regret.

"I'll put in a good word for you," Charlie replied. He came into full view carrying what might have looked like a bust of the head of Jack Bristow. It was slightly crumbly around the edges, but otherwise unharmed despite the massive explosion the other day. "Found this in what used to be the office. Barely a scratch on it. Figured it might find a good home."

For some reason there's a cricket bat left unpacked and a bunch of shiny glittery stuff by one of the heating vents.

Gosh. I wonder what could happen next?

The shiny stuff was just too much of a draw. The gremlins couldn't resist. With great care, two of them snuck out of the vent into Marty's room and tried to make off with the shinies before he noticed them.

The gremlins froze, arms full of shiny objects. They looked at each other and then at Marty. A request to talk was not covered by the fight or flight response. They waited to see what he would do next.

"Hey Pheebs," Marty said looking up. "What's the good word?"

A few hours before she knew Marty had to leave, Angela showed up at his door.

She was carrying a large and possibly goofy bouquet of red and orange roses.

"Hey."

"Hey," Marty said standing up with a goofy grin at the roses. "I'm guessing those are for me?"

"They're kind of the silliest gift every," Angela fretted. "I mean, you have to take them on the plane, and I'm not sure you can keep them in water, and ... I just didn't know what to do." She managed a smile of her own. "It looks like you're almost done packing."

After Everyone has left... (Locked to Marty)

Marty sat alone in his mostly empty room looking at everything around him and trying not to let the fact that leaving is bothering him more than he thought.

It's then that he spies the file that Marcella had given him sticking out a bit from under the mattress.

He stared at it for a few minutes before finally pulling it out and taking off the wrapper. Taking a deep breath he opened it and began to read.

Five minutes later he was on the phone with Marcella.
