Marty probably should be studying for his final. Instead his mind kept getting distracted by other things. The bad movie on TV. The thin walls where he could here his Slavic neighbors argue very loudly.

Oh yeah. And the pregnant girlfriend.

So really it was almost a relief when he got the voicemail
