Angela was itsy-bitsy-spiderng at the baby and fussing with her little velvet dress. "You don't think she's too young for this, do you?"

"I don't know," Marty admitted. "Isn't a tradition to get a picture on Santa's lap when you're a baby and get picture of yourself screaming your head off?"

This of course was all said in a happy joyful tone that one keeps in front of a child who doesn't understand what you're saying but knows a happy tone when they hear it.

Angela mimicked his joyful tone. "So we're tormenting our daughter so we'll have a picture to embarrass her with later?"

Just so they were clear on that.
