So. I don't know that I've talked about this explicitly. Tomorrow will be the first day of my 6-week trial run on Prozac. When I talked to the doctor about it, I remember describing the depression and sounding phony, thinking it's not really that bad, I'm basically over it. you'd be better knocking it down to a half-pill daily than every other day. It's better to keep a lower constant than bump back and forth through half-withdrawals, though I don't know your dosage, how it will affect you, or any of that. just sayin' what I been tol'

interesting. i've been told -- or rather, read -- the opposite: the coated capsules are made specifically to slowly release the drug, and cutting them in half means absorbing a given day's half dangerously quickly.

I'll bring it up with the doc, if it gets annoying enough that I feel the need to call her.
