But. The backlash has started against my poor bb Kris. It's ugly and frustrating and just thinking about it makes me want to cry. I'm so so scared for him. :( I've felt so protective of him all year, I want to lash out at anybody that says anything bad about him, and the next couple of months are going to be so difficult. Rooting for the underdog is hard enough - but when they actually win? That's where the ugly starts. (Simon fucking Cowell didn't even bother to stand up and clap for Kris after the announcement. Asshole.)
When I get to thinking, I'm actually more scared than happy for my boy. OH BUT THEN I SEE THESE AND LIFE IS GREAT AGAIN. THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. THEY JUST REALLY REALLY REALLY DO.

YOU GUYS. Let's not forget - we got the perfect Top 2. That was the victory of the season (Put the "Go" in Gokey!) - Kris is just the one who happened to get the title. You know they have nothing but love for each other, and you know they're both going to have amazing careers ahead of them. It was amazing to see how happy Adam was for Kris, and how disappointed Kris was for Adam. ("Adam deserves this. I'm sorry." OH KRIS. LIKE I DIDN'T ALREADY LOVE YOU ENOUGH, YOU JUST HAD TO SAY THAT. ♥)
Like the amazing people in ontd_ai have already said: I would have been disappointed in any result but a tie. It had to go one way or the other. The result we got was probably the most difficult of the two, but we're here now.
