Finally, FINALLY, Rupert had a chance to show how fantastically overlooked he's been as an actor and in the same bet, how overlooked Ron has been as a character. Without Ron, Harry is nothing, and that's not a bad thing. It's ironic that he's the best actor of the three, imo at least. And his face was so hard to look at in the forest scenes. The anguish written all over his face (ha) literally hurt. And then his deluminator speech and his stupid apologetic face :33333 BASICALLY, Ron's face the entire time. HE'S SO IN LOVE. And his little touches, I just can't.
Hermione's torture scene was so painful, I was shaking in my seat, omg. My heart hurts so much for them, and the trio really had so much weight to carry in this film and they did it beautifully. It was so dark and plodding, but entirely necessary. The Deathly Hallows scene was so fucking cool to watch.
This is so disjointed because I really can't think at the moment beyond DOBBY<3_____<3 OMG. YOU BAMF.
Oh, the Ginny/Harry moment was odd. George, however, is perfect. And speaking of the twins, I can't think about how devastated I'm going to be with the second movie.

SO. MANY. FEELINGS. I can't stop thinking about it. I don't ever want to stop talking about it. I want to turn back time and live through the entire series all over again, all the ups and downs of it, all the beauty and love and bravery and loyalty, just. alsjfdasjfasf MY HEARTTTTTTT.
I feel like I'm neglecting Harry, but really. C'mon. He's beautiful and stubborn and brave and a moody little bitch and the whole world loves him. Dan has matured so nicely and is just Harry for me. I'm so glad they managed to keep his character IN character by adding little moments of humor and affection (like the dancing scene), which really demonstrate his gratitude and affection for his friends because the audience can't see his thoughts on a movie screen like they can on the page.
Dan is amazing. I said this to ryo_girl on her post, but yeah, it's become so easy to take him for granted - he's always been amazing, has grown up so much and knows the character so well, and he's always been just there. Dan's portrayal makes me love Harry so much more. He just has it, and the fandom - the entire film franchise, really - is so, so lucky to have found him.
Yeah, I definitely need to finish the entire book before the last movie just to feel that scene again. That moment better be as heartbreaking and tragically beautiful as it should be.
YES YES YES YES! EVERYTHING! OMG Rupert Grint! I can't stop making heart eyes whenever he's on the screen. How amazing is he really. For the first time, they made him capture everything I loved about Ron in the books into the movie. And Rupert did it PERFECTLY! He might have been waiting for this moment forever, and I didn't even realize how much Ron was written out in the past movies until this one. I am so late to the Ronald wagon but I'm here!
THE DANCE SCENE WAS STILL UNNECESSARY! LOL I will refuse to see it forever.
I never cried blatantly for both of the times I watched it. But I did sport a Dean Winchester mantear for the ENTIRE MOVIE the second time. DOBBY!!! Fred's face! HEDWIG! Hermione being tortured! T_T
Okay that's enough. THREE BROTHERS ANIMATION! Okay, really enough.
