N and started the South Beach Diet last week. I will be keeping track of our weekly meal plans on my journal. Comment here if you are interested in seeing them.
So far pretty well. Lost 7 # so far, and I'm not having the sugar crashes at work that I used to, which is really nice. And in some ways it does make meal planning easier, in that you can work within the 3 cookbooks and find a decent variety.
Sure! I have cooked for Atkins and Glycemic Index people before... I am wondering how the South Beach regamine is simmilar and dissimmillar. And it never works out the same as in the books, unfortunately, but seems to be a very complete plan.

If nothing else, it answers the question "what should we have for dinner". That makes it interesting.

I gained weight. 7#.
I'm at week 8. I've lost all of the weight I've gained since I started, but it is damn frustrating.
