1) the kiddo absolutely loves indian and thai food. It is fun to have a toddler beg for curry.

2) I am proud of myself for losing 1/5 of my body weight. I could lose the same amount again according to medical guidelines, but I would be thrilled with half that. Yay, back down to pre pregnancy weight!

It seems that small people tend to like stuff that they're exposed to -- how can they like sushi if they've never seen it? (Mmm, curry!)

And hey, congrats on sticking with your plan and becoming even healthier.

2) Are these the same medical guidelines that say I should weigh 78 pounds? Stupid guidelines. You look wonderful. You've worked hard to get there.

ok, you and I have to talk about this 78# thing. I don't know who told you this, but clearly they were on crack. I can't remember how tall you are, so I can't give you the numbers right here, but I think at 78# we'd be looking at potential listing level severity for disability. so let me know tonight, and we'll look at the numbers. and yeah BMI is not a very sensitive tool, there are a lot of obvious factors that is doesn't (can't) take into account, but it is meant to be a rough guideline, not gospel.

and yeah, I've worked hard to get where I am right now, but I remember where I was about another 25# lighter, and I liked it better. trust me, at 25# lighter I am still curvy.
