Today I am thankful for my parents. Not just for the obvious, but because as we've aged, they've become good friends. We may not agree on everything, but there is a lot of stuff that I can talk to them about. I value their experience now (as opposed to my teenage years when I would roll my eyes). I saw your post and had to think on it for a while. My dad and I have gotten to be really good friends, despite our view point differences. It is strange thinking of him as a friend and not the "enemy." *chuckling*
