This post describes my evil ex situation to a tee. It also describes half of my current job and a couple of past jobs. I've been trying to put into words exactly what made my situations abusive even though there was no obvious physical abuse. It's been very hard to explain and this post does it very well.

Yeah, I'm slowly working on dealing with past issues. I was wondering why I had such an emotionally strong reaction to BitchyBoss and I finally figured out it was because she was doing the same thing my ex did. The whole, "you're worthless, you do worthless work, nobody likes you, but we need you" spiel.

Thanks for posting that link. It's good to be conscious of those signs. I've never had all of them at the same time used on me but here and there I've experienced them.
