Hurray! I am thoroughly impressed with EA's customer support. The guy was personable, friendly, and helpful. They also replace your first damaged disc free of charge, without receipt or anything! I'll have a new copy of Rock Band in less than two weeks. Hurray

I'm writing sfx I don't know in capital letters with comments behind it... let me know which words you use for them?

frame 1 -
Ash: Damn that Gary, his vanity is drooping/pouring [like sweat but then his vanity]
bg text:
His length, his marks,
his running speed, they're all the same (way)

frame 2 -
mother: Ash, because wild Pokemon are dangerous
don't go into the fields right... [a better translation of 'right' might be 'don't you agree' as this 'ne' indicates that Ash would agree with her, or at least that he should agree with her according to her]
Ash: Mom said that but...
she's far so looking for a bit would be good, right...

frame 3 -
Ash: Ah. [ooh difficult XD]

frame 4 -
Ash: Wah!!
sfx: (DOSA.) [falling sound, what would that be in English? 'baff'?]

frame 5 -
Ash: Owowow... my foot was hooked in the grass...
sfx: (ZAZA...) [wheezing sound, like wind]
Ash: ...what?

Doing the sfx like that sounds great. As long as you tell me what sort of idea it conveys, I can pick an appropriate English equivalent. I used "thump" for "dosa" and "whoooosh" for "zaza."

And so you know how I'm going about it, here is the finished result for this page. Look good?

I also need page 5, if you don't mind. I mostly just want to double-check that I got mine right before I finalize it. ^^;

About the one hour earlier bit... Is the part with Gary a flashback to earlier, or did Ash really go looking for Pokemon, come home and find out Gary has one, and then go out again? It changes the wording slightly, depending.

Oh, and would you like me to respond with how I script each translation or just wait until I upload each finished chapter as a Zip with the actual files?
