Silent Hill 3, hard mode, hospital door passcode riddle poetry..

In Silent Hill 3, on Hard Riddle mode, the passcode for the Hospital 2nd floor door is immensely hard, but at the same time, highly poetic. Basically what you're supposedly to do is read the poem, and related each stanza to somehow find out what the 4 digit passcode is. Here's the poem, see if you can get the number, I can't
