Tonight... the spackling begins in earnest!

Hobbit Hill with complete foam insulation spray layer.  Kinda hard
to see here, but if you look closely around the windows and doors you
can see the "sandstone" textured spray paint that I bought last weekend
at WalMart.

The styrofoam was a very interesting substance to work with.  What
you see here is what happens when you try your best to smooth it out as
it dries!  Still tres lumpy.  The roommate thinks it looks
like the exploded marshmallow man from Ghostbusters.  Or possibly
very lumpy icing.  I thought it looked more like lumpy mashed
potatoes.  What do you think?  :P

Poll

Anyhoo, I am very excited because tonight I will return to WalMart for
the final substance to coat the Hobbit Hill with: spackle.  That's
right, I'm excited about buying a big bucket o' spackle.  :)
This is after much deliberation about what substance would be hard and
relatively strong and fill in all the gaps in the styrofoam.
Roommate had a small tub of the stuff that she didn't need, so I tried
it out already.  If you think the styrofoam looks like icing, wait
till you see it covered in spackle!  :P  Very evocative of
icing.  Or possibly cream cheese.  This is quite the place my
hobbits live...  At least we know it will be well-insulated.
