yesterday i found out i was waitlisted at oberlin. i'm sending back the card saying i'd like to remain on the wait list, but other than that, what can i do to augment my application? i'm sending in a recommendation, my latest grades, a letter, and am considering sending in a philosophy paper i wrote for a summer class i took as well as a list of books that i've read within the past year. for anyone who's been in this position, what did you do to get accepted off the waitlist? do you think sending too much will make me seem overzealous? meh. i'm just passionate about oberlin and am hoping to demonstrate that the second time around.
