Oh my gosh, Oberlin is having its Boston interview day at my old high school! Clearly I should sign up.

Well, you can tell your friends in relevant cities to do it! :)

I think for on-campus, the best thing is to give Science Center tours and be AMAZING over all-roads.

ah, I wish I could. I don't think I'm close enough to Boston to make the trek out there... and I have to work that day.

I think it's very probable that I could justify the one-hour drive to Boston for this. I'll just have to restrain myself from automatically giving a "1" to any hipster douchebags.

The school itself has its fair share of hipsters, at least it did while I was there. (Like every alternative school, the older students/alums are always suspicious that the administration is trying to cater to "normal" kids all of a sudden. And it's been awhile since I visited with current students present.) But lots of them were nice hipsters. Sonia Oram also went to CSW with me!

...Although actually, what IS a fair share of hipsters?

I did an interview for ARN in december ... really nice kid, hope she gets in. It's a fun way to spend half an hour / 45 minutes, and it's good to see who's looking at Oberlin these days.
