Cell Phone service

Hey guys. My family is switching from Verizon to Sprint... bad idea for service at Oberlin? I've looked through this site, so I know this has been asked before, but I think the last post was in 2008 and I wanted to see if the situation has changed. Verizon seems to have gotten good reviews and Sprint mixed... is this accurate still or is Sprint

I probably commented on the 2008 post, but I have Sprint and did fine. My family was in town with me for Commencement this past weekend and they seemed to be having trouble though (we're all on Sprint). Just don't get AT&T. Really, inside a lot of dorms/buildings you won't get service no matter what you've got, but I thought Sprint was fine.

Agreed re: dorms. I had sprint, and I was quite happy.

Is there anyone who doesn't get horribly frustrated by at&t? Does anyone manage to get by with it?

Everyone I know who has an iPhone on campus didn't get great (or even good) service, so what's the point of having a fancy phone you can't even use?
