Wow. I really, really liked this.

Great job.

It was sad, but there were moments of cuteness and happiness too. The contrast just made it altogether more poignant.

Thank you! I'm so glad that the contrast between sweet and happy worked well; I spent ages trying to figure out if the juxtaposition between happy and sad was too jarring, so I'm so glad to hear that it worked for you!

This was my first SPN fic and I was really nervous about posting it. Thank you so much for reading and commenting, it really means a lot!

AND YOU ~HELPED. DIRTY.

*points to icon* ROBO!SAM ;_______;

Seriously, though, thank you for reading this and helping it suck less. You are a... idk. I was going to call you a diamond, and then thought "wtf, self, who says that" so I was trying to think of something better but then just got Lucy in the Sky stuck in my head and that doesn't help anything. Uh. You're a FUNFETTI CUPCAKE?! idk. whatever. you rock, is the point I'm trying to make here.

The sense of rhythm in this story is so powerful that I'm still nodding my head even now that I've stopped reading - it evokes so much, inevitability and longing and the inexorable way life goes on even when you don't want it to, everything invested with so much love and longing, memories tied together through time so tightly it's unimaginable that Sam and Dean would ever truly be disconnected. Lovely language, really enjoyed this.

... I'm pretty sure that this comment is way more poetic than my story.

Thank you so much, I'm so relieved to get positive feedback here. It was my first SPN fic, and I was worried things didn't hang together as well as I thought they did. I'm so glad that the rhythm came through. Your summary is so much better than anything I could have said to describe this. Thank you!!!

Good f-ing grief! I'm going to go home and re-read this about 5 times and try to figure out how you got that wonderful flow going and sustained throughout the piece

Thank you so much for your comment!!

This is my first SPN fic and I was so worried about posting it, and your comment makes me all flaily and makes me feel all warm and fizzy.

The part that you pointed out is my favourite line; I'm so glad that it resonated with you!!

Thank you so much for reading and responding :D
