It's funny how the stories that need to be shared for the common good of society never are, because that calls for action and with that, struggle. We can hear one thousand stories about a woman getting raped and killed and it's not like there is anyone who is going to go through a sudden realization and say, "well, I never knew there were dirty, horrible men around". Not to take even a tiny bit of severity out of the crime, of course... you know I would never do that, out of all people.
BUT my point is that there are so many people who don't understand hate crimes to the extent we need to, thus why this story needs to be spread as widely as possible.
