i am literally in awe right now. this is so beautifully written. i have never been in love with pacific rim aus, but this one blew me away. it has such a strong undercurrent of sadness. i love hanbin/bobby to begin with, but this could be literally any pairing and it would still stun me.

i love hanbin's character here. he's a perfect foil to bobby, to the point where he really makes bobby's plight even sadder. from the tone it's obvious that the story isn't going to end well, and there's this tension thrumming between double b throughout the story, and by the time it resolves itself my mouth was pretty much dry. the theme of religion and salvation threaded through the story was actually probably my favourite part of this fic, more for personal reasons, but also because it was done beautifully.

this feels a lot longer than 2.6k words, which, idk your ability to say so much in so little is amazing. loved this to bits *____*

omg wow this was so nicely written idk even know what to say. like just the imagery itself and the references scattered throughout especially the part when

"You were right," says Bobby, about the numbers. About the mission. About us.

"Almost," says Hanbin, I wasn't right about you. Not quite.

it was so poetic and the ending where the photograph of hanbin's sister peels off the wall and hanbin's last thought. (and also hanbin's tattoos) and this fic was simply amazing!!

HOLD MY BLEEDING HEART CLOSE TO ME

i love how you portrayed the dynamics of bobby and hanbin's relationship and

Their hands find each other amidst the sound of the crying alarms PLS EXCUSE MY TEARS, i like how they have an all encompassing love and even if they know they're about to die, they would die together because they are just- im - i hate u

The hunger consumes them both. Hanbin gives him his life (or whatever else that’s left of it that Bobby hasn’t already yet seen in the drift). bye GOOD FUCKING BYE I DONT EVEN- I HAVE NO WORDS, the fact that they're both each other's salvation is one that hit me hard and im-

ok i think im rambLing but ilu ted thank u for this i don't think i;ll ever match up :----(

i'm so incoherent right now and i just went off blubbering to you about the fibonacci sequence on twitter and i once again have to tell you how much i adore your writing and how it leaves me in awe. every sentence of this was like a held breath for me and it felt like it took forever to read because things started sinking in slowly, seeping into my brain and now everything is so saturated in my mind. from the latin to the lines on religion, to their relationship and the dynamics of it, from non-friends to drift partners to more than that, two people connected through their minds and through their non-religion... this whole thing was so heavy to me and so, so good ( ... )
