Today's request is simple everybody. I just want to know one thing, when you were all back home, did you ever feel like there was nothing more to the world then what you could see and touch ( Read more... )

I know there's more to the world than what I can see and touch.

But, was there a time you didn't know that? I mean I always wished I could find more to the world then what is immediately around me but it's taken till now to confirm it.

The world is a lot bigger than you think it is when you know what to look for.

...but it definitely became a lot bigger for me after I met my friends.

That is an interesting way of looking at it. I guess, things have changed a lot for me since I began the Brigade and met Kyon and the others.

Glad to see someone is interested! The SOS Brigade is a club I run that is devoted to seeking out strange and unusual things!

I'm always looking for new members!

[The Finnian's interest is captured!]

Strange and unusual things? Like Space Aliens!? Giant robots?!

Exactly! And ESPers and time travelers to! The SOS Brigade is dedicated to finding all these things and then having fun with them!

It's rather difficult to study something when you don't even know it exists.

Well, duh. That is pretty obvious. I meant more have you ever just looked around and the world and said "There has to be more to it then this."

What's in the world is enough. If you can't find mystery in that, you're not looking closely enough.

The Brigade looks plenty hard for stuff like that, we've just never found anything...

There is more to anything than what can be seen and touched, including the world itself.

Could ya give an example?

[He switches to video and holds up a book.]

For example, consider an ordinary item like this book. Consider the author, and what influenced their ideas. Then consider how many people may have been inspired by the author and what influenced them to write this little book. What if those who have been touched by the author's story decide to expand and write their own books?

The world is a network of ideas and those touched by them.

[He does not understand your question, Haruhi. Like, at all. Also, he finds you strange, and you remind him of Yuffie, which could be good or bad. For him.]
