(Tried to post this a few days ago but had trouble so sorry for the old news!)
Once again it's a longish post so i'll shove it behind a link
OK so last time I updated I had just arrived in Spain and gotten drunk, since then quite a lot has happened and it started shit house.
We have been travelling with another tour, and tragically one of them died the night after I last updated. We had just been out to watch some Flamenco Dancing and while most of the group went out to party for a bit a small group of us went back to the campsite, where all the drama unfolded. Very scary and so sad, as far as we know it was caused by a blood infection.
Anyway our next stop was back into France and to the French Rivera, which was just beautiful. Went to an awesome theme park and went on the scariest ride I have ever experienced - the Adrenaline. Oh yeah! Imagine being strapped lying down to a rope with 2 other guys, being hoisted up 60 meters and then being let go... Fkn Awesome!!! Went on another rough as ride too, left with 30€ down, bruises everywhere and burst blood vessels in my eyes -à great night. Then went Swimming in The French Riviera at midnight --- just so we said we could. Visited the Town of Nice (pronounced niece) which was nice, went up to Monaco that night to the Casino... lets not talk about that. Casino was so boring, its supposed to be like the best in the world or something, most prestige maybe. Pft I prefer Sky City any day.
Then off to Italy Whooooo!!! Started at Verona, the home of Juliet, where we got to see her balcony. Next Venice where we took a nice gondola ride around the town and had awesome pizza and gelati - I think I’m in love. Stopped by Pisa and saw the leaning tower, which I just found hilarious - what a huge screw up, lol. Pisa itself was a bit of a hole but we had lots of fun posing in stupid ways. Next in Italy was Florence. Very beautiful... got to see the statue of Michelangelo’s David which was just absolutely amazing. I was totally gobbstopped, few other museums and churches there too. Yesterday we arrived in Rome and visited the smallest country in the world - Vatican City. It was very impressive. Sistine Chappell was beautiful and not really what I expected. Went into St Michaels cathedral and that was just wow! Today we were in Rome again. Got to see and go in the colosseum (Squee) also saw some really freaky skeleton tomb - Chad you’d love it, some of the others of you would have been sick.
Oh and I finally got to meet the wonderful Fede! Yay! You are so great, Kelly and Daniel loved you, and so do I, your awesome. I hope I didnt seem to weird (I guess rolling on the ground in the middle of the pathway didnt help, but it was a lot of fun, I’m so glad to have met you and your english was great! Thanks again.
Well thats it for now, ill update again later. Cya later
