It's funny; it takes a while for my facial hair to appear red when I grow a beard. At short lengths it just looks blond.

Actually, at very short lengths (a few days growth) you don't really see it at all, except it makes my face appear blurry, which is pretty awesome.

Stubble Trouble

The best thing about facial hair is that you can shave the day before meeting your female companion, then surprise her by scratching her nose with your stubble.
