Heavens to Betsy. That, if I mistake not Watson, is a wood-bodied 12-string tricone resonator guitar with some kind of electrical amplificatory device. What kind of wood is that? It's a beautiful colour. I bet you won't come out of your room for a month ;)
Shush! It will be in my hands soon and I can post things about it backwards to how everyone else does it - sound files, then pictures, and then a description.
My father always said I was a yob (a backwards boy).
Okay then. Which makes more sense than the way I went about my parlour quest. After posting a thread about it, then spending a month of tearing my hair out, it looks like the world's only remaining example available for retail sale has been sold to someone other than myself. This despite the shop-guy saying I could have it. Damn. Oh well, at least I've still got the 500 quid to provide some solace.

Luckily I have an entire flat to myself, so I can walk around in my briefs playing anywhere! huzzah! (Typically I do wear something more, though)
The pickup is a Harmony Gold Foil from a lapsteel (I think, at least), and is apparently "bloody hot" in the words of the builder.
