I shouldn't have done it E-bay...

As long time readers will remember, I'm concerned about the upcoming release of the "original" Star Wars Trilogy on DVD. So that I could have a copy of the unaltered aka. non-special editions of the films, I resorted to purchasing a set on Ebay. Bad idea as explained behind the cut.

Unfortunately, there's always a bad eBay experience. My mother spends a LOT of time on eBay buying things. Her and my dad did have an incident where they were buying a laptop from someone on ebay. They went through PayPal (which then can't stand) and put it on their CCard. When the seller didn't come through and was scamming them, they had a hold put on the payment through the CCard company, to which PayPal was calling my parents all pissed off. Long story short, they didn't lose any money but learned a lesson about eBay.

I'm sorry to hear that your dvd quality was so bad, it won't play. And anyone who's THAT quick to reply and immediately pointing the blame to the buyer and not doing anything to fix the issue seems like a scammer to me.

Too bad the series they are releasing in a few months is gonna suck. :(
