I woke up and had to go to the bathroom. When I sat up I was dizzy and exhausted. So I stumbled (yes, literally stumbled) into the bathroom. I came back and laid down. is that 5am to 1pm? that sounds alright for hours. you can still do things like go to the post office after work.

you probably hate your job because you push yourself too hard. the truth is your store is lucky to have someone who cares about their work. i think you don't spend enough time chatting and goofing off personally. working less means you'll be less tired i think.

Yeah, 5AM-1PM. Which means going to bed at 6 and waking up at 4. And just four years ago I would have said I'd rather quit than come in any earlier than 7. heh. But, yes, I do like it that I can do things that normal people can't. I simply don't understand how people who go in at 8 or 9 and leave at 5ish can get anything done. There's no way to go to the post office, or the doctor's, or any utilities, or even the bank! But I also haven't seen a sunset since winter when it got dark out at 4:00. I haven't stayed up till midnight since the Harry Potter 7 release.

And, yes, I do kinda push it. I only take one break a day. I don't really have time to take any more than that and sometimes I don't even have time for one, but I take one anyway. I do screw around some, but I'm just not very sociable with more than, like, two or three people. I also don't have time to screw around very much. I have stuff I need to get done and I'm trying to do three people's jobs at the same time.
