Band shtuff
For vice president for band, I lost right? Dan Macri won, which I was happy about. I like Dan, and I expected him to win, and I'm glad he did: he's a super nice guy and he'll do a wonderful job.
Talked to Mr Deeb today.
Guess how much I lost by?
If it were three or four or five, I'd be cool with it....
I lost by ONE VOTE.
If Deanna hadn't been absent, it would have been tied and then we'd have to decide among ourselves or Mr Deeb would have to choose.
But seriously, one freaking vote. And don't get me wrong; I really really like Dan and I know he'll make a great VP. I wasn't expecting to win, since he's gonna be a senior next year, and I've still got another year till then. But ONE?!?!?! It's just frustrating.
Meh oh well; like Mr Deeb told me, I'm gonna own the music department my senior year. I've got time. Dan deserved it, even if it was that close.
la de da. Laurel's here now; they're upstairs doing stuff. What, who know. My dog wants them to come downstairs, he wants to sit with them.
I'm bored. Bored, bored bored.
Have to march three parades, damn Memorial Day!! Eh no, it's not that bad. I just have a lot of crap for school to do. It'll be fun though. Sad... last performance with the seniors, and I LOOOVEEE them all this year... seriously... Allie and Becca. Schwartz is only there in spirit, but I love him too. Chris Desmarais. Kevin Pollock. Then non-low brass people... Justine, and... yeah. Just her. But yeah man, I really love them all. Wont be the same section without them harrassing each other. Luckily Jay and Tim are still here :) so that's good.
Right, see you all at Burlington/ Harwinton parades?? cuz I'm assuming no one's going to the Thomaston one. But yeah.... later
