Ugh.
NOT happy about the direction Dollhouse has taken. Will write up a review after I've watched the episodes again. Something went wrong with the signal and some scenes got messed up. But here are some of my initial thoughts under the cut. Warning for spoilers!
The whole (suddenly "epic") Echo/Ballard love is really ruining this show for me. I was dreading it, but it's even worse than I imagined. How convenient that the writers get to say "three months later" and suddenly they have this established love. Very convenient. Because if they'd done it any other way it would have been laughable.
I want to know what happens to Perrin! I want to know what happens to Madeleine! I wanted to see Echo out on her own and gaining self awareness on her own (without her knight in boring armor to save her).
Just. Ugh.
Even Alpha couldn't save it for me. These are the first episodes ever where I've started doing other things while the show was on. I stopped paying attention.
