I have found comfort. The upcoming DOOM movie(scheduled for an August 2005 release) seems to be sounding better to my ears. It does not take place on Earth, it does not involce a SWAT team, it will be rated R, and it could possibly include Hell, or simply mutants. And, alas, it also contains the BFG. man, horror movie buff, eh? I hate most horror films like crazy. It's either too suspensful for my little heart or just plain stupid and predictable. Sorry I was laughing so much ^^ that movie was pretty good, though. I liked it better the first time when it was called The Matrix. (j/k, they're not alike at all, and I never saw that movie...)

its a good thing they didnt have the SWAT or earth in it seeing as it takes place on mars and to one person.They need to make it more like the game and less like the social standard "team action horror" that we all loathe (i.e. resident evil"good but had nothing to do with the game but raccoon city and t-virus)
