[he can't help but run over and kneel down by the other, clearly alarmed - Demyx was one of the few he ever liked, so can you sue him if he's a bit worried? he hasn't realized the other's deaf yet, though, as he reaches out gingerly]

Roxas! [his voice is a bit louder than usual, thanks to being deaf] Roxas, didja get that guy's lic- ooh!- licence? [does what he can to sit up, but it feels much better to just lie on the pavement.]

I-- wasn't watching the car. I just-
[he pauses as it all sinks in, then he sighs violently and digs through his pocket for the waiting pen and pad. He quickly scribbles down a few things and holds it up for Demyx to see:
"You're deaf. I'm gonna help you get back home, okay?"]

[But, of course, he kneels down and helps him sit up as gingerly as possible, keeping a steadying hand to his back.]

Lean on me. [Slowly, he helps him to his feet, helping him put most of his weight onto the schemer, despite his height.]
